Supporting Women’s Economic Empowerment

The centre organizes Women’s Day celebrations, Kudumbashree meetings, and interactive sessions on women’s leadership and financial independence. In collaboration with Chavara Matrimony, it also promotes healthy family relationships and responsible marital life through guidance and counseling. To support women’s economic empowerment, the centre conducts small-scale bakery and cookery training courses, enabling participants to gain self-employment skills and become financially independent. Regular seminars, workshops, and community outreach programmes are held in association with social workers, legal experts, and healthcare professionals to promote family values, gender justice, and social well-being. By empowering women and supporting families, the Chavara Cultural Centre continues its mission of fostering a just, compassionate, and inclusive society, guided by the values of humanity, equality, and service.
